River Fishing Kvina
The Kvina river in Kvinesdal is teeming with salmon and trout, a prized catch for many anglers. With its clean, fast-flowing waters, it’s the perfect spot for fly fishing or spin fishing. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner, you’ll find the river an excellent place to hone your skills and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Fjord Fishing
Just a short distance from the apartment, you’ll find the majestic fjord. Here, the waters are rich with a variety of fish species including mackerel, pollock, saithe, and cod. The fjord’s calm, deep waters make it ideal for both boat and shore fishing. You can expect to reel in an impressive catch, making your fishing trips both rewarding and enjoyable.
Crabbing, lobster and Shellfish
For those interested in crabbing and shellfish, our location is perfect for setting pots to catch crabs, and Norway lobsters* (langoustines). The rich marine life in the fjord provides excellent opportunities for these types of catches, ensuring a delightful seafood feast after a successful day on the water.
* Lobster season is between October 1st. and December 1st.
* Norwegian lobster/saltwater creyfish (langoustines) can be fished all year.
